Tales of Zestiria Review (PC)

Like with all the "Tails" Japanese Role play games (JRPG) you have to spend time looking everywhere, down every area of map you can get to find items and story comment bits to build the bonds between you and your group. Anyone that has played this for the min amount just to write a negative review are doing it to put people off and TROLL would be players. The Tails games are RPG games and have in-depth stories usually with a host of endings, however that is not the case with this one but it still has a very in-depth story. It is not a BRO-mance as some have claimed and those that claim thus actually have NO CLUE what they are talking about, there is very little if anything to hint at any kind of romance past the bonds of friendship and family. anyone stating otherwise 1: doesn't understand relationships 2: doesn't understand the story of this game 3: hasn't played the game long enough to even understand what is going on.

This game is a HELL of a lot of fun and is VERY much worth getting and playing. At the time of this post I have well over 50h clocked and that's just my FIRST play though! As to get the best out of any of the tails games you have to play many times upping your difficulty setting each time. In most Tails games this would also give you different endings, but not this time in Tales of Zestiria, it just has one ending, but you still need to do the many play though to get the best gear and the best out of the game. Some have said you loose all your gear, this is not the case you can get your gear back via the challenge orbs located in most inn's but be warned you'll be fighting clones of yourself from the level you left your last save that you have used to carry into the next play.

I found this game a breath of fresh air in an era where our gaming industry is flooding us with POOR "reboots", FPS games that just recycle OLD maps and call them "new and improved" and games with micro transaction just to unlock the story. For once a whole game has come out and it has a decent story, easy game play and HOURS of fun which is what ANY game should be about. If I did star ratings on games this one gets the full 10 out of 10.
